STEP ONE

We do a Virtual Home “Visit”

Once a family registers for our personalized nanny matchmaking services, our team will set up a Zoom consultation to learn more about your childcare needs, wishlist, goals and philosophies. We love meeting parents, and searching for that special nanny who will be an extension of your family and complement your lifestyle. A personal touch is our promise! We want you to feel heard, and we will do our absolute best to find you the perfect fit!

STEP TWO

We Screen Full Time Candidates

From our own network and beyond, we seek out educated, nurturing full time nannies with years of experience, skills, and the utmost integrity. Nannies must share the values of Educated Nannies™. We interview all candidates to learn more about their unique experiences, and conduct social media checks. We call their references to verify their employment and ask questions about their qualifications, personality, strengths and weaknesses.

STEP THREE

Family Interviews

This is where things get really exciting! After we have done our vetting, we send you the resumes and references of our top full time nanny candidates. These are the nannies who match your skill requirements and schedule, and who we believe will complement your family’s personality and lifestyle! We help you set up virtual interviews to meet these incredible nannies. You are also welcome to do a meet and greet in person!

STEP FOUR

Nanny Trial

You get to conduct trial days with the nanny where you share more about your expectations and job duties. The trial is an opportunity for both the nanny and the family to decide if it’s going to be the right fit moving forward. Parents or a current nanny must be present during the trial days. We conduct thorough background screenings upon hire, and all of our nannies in CA are fingerprinted and registered with TrustLine.

STEP FIVE

Congrats! Welcome to the Family

When you are confident that you have chosen the right Educated Nanny for your family, you present the nanny with a contract and make it official! All of our nannies are considered W2 household employees and families are responsible for payroll and taxes. We refer you to a payroll service who walks you through the process. We are there for ongoing support if you have any questions. Congratulations!

NANNY SERVICES PRICING & PACKAGE DETAILS

Nannies set their own rates, typically earning $40+/hour gross. Full-time nannies receive 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, and the federal mileage reimbursement rate if they use their own vehicle while on the job. Some families provide a medical stipend or other benefits.

The Educated Nannies placement fee is 20% of the candidate’s total Gross Annual Compensation. Your investment in your child’s care includes:
